Local Vegetables at Ralph’s Farm Market
Local vegetables are just starting to come into season! Right now you can enjoy local spinach, bell Peppers & microgreens amongst the selections available. These veggies, along with many others can be enjoyed in your very own Salad Roll!
How To Make A Salad Roll
Start by prepping vegetables and protein of your choice. You’ll want to cut these into long and narrow pieces. Then soak your rice paper to make it flexible to fill your veggies and protein with and roll it up nice and tight like a burrito. We recommend the Little Saigon Sauces to pair with your Salad Rolls, one of our favourites is the Peanut Sauce! You can sprinkle some sesame seeds or crushed nuts on the finished product as a garnish.
Salad Roll Recipe and Ingredients
You can really combine any veggies and protein you like. A couple of combinations for inspiration featuring spinach (since it’s on special this week) are:
- Cucumbers, Carrots, Peppers, Avocados, Purple Cabbage, Basil, Spinach, Shrimp, Rice Noodles.
- Strawberries, Spinach, Feta Cheese, Pecans, Tofu.
